Dairy 1: My Best Macro Game to Date

Perhaps this will become daily

The Game: http://drop.sc/181665

Going through this game i found little to no flaw.

Insanely good early game for me got to 60 or so drones extremely effectively. Was safe the whole time, did ok scouting in that i knew he took a second when i put down my third and then i knew pretty quickly when his third went down. At that point i decided to tech really hard.

Clear mistake was that i didn't build a 4th fast enough (at all) I'm thinking it should be around the 12 minute mark if i take the drones that are over 16 from my main and natural and build 9 more i have a fully saturated and gased third with enough money to build a 4th.I would have been ultra safe at that point to take a fourth even a fifth. and with broodlords and infestors ready to be built i needed the increase income while using excess minerals as a ling battering ram.

But note this is my best overall macro game ever.

Introduction:

So this is the introductory post in the series. But hopefully this will become something fantastic for the community to endorse and talk about in the future.

This series will contain the understanding of specific builds being described and demonstrated and the thought processes of the build being spelled out. This can be both therapeutic (getting that tough loss off the mind), and instructive.

Through my post you be able to clearly see the format of the series as well as be able to pick out key flaws in my understanding of the game as well as maybe your own, or perhaps see the variance in opinion on a specific portion of the game.

The influence of Sean Plott is all over this, what's the single thing that lost the game and fix it. Hopefully this stems an epidemic of such blogs about the thing we love esports and Starcraft 2.

Sincerely, Nicholas Jennings
